raise the roof yo'

This post is about to go cray cray.
We have a friggen roof people. Already! A. ROOF!!
exclamation marks!!!!!!!

They commenced the roof works on Thursday 11th October and completed it on Tuesday 16th October.
Four days to build a roof. I know they say Rome wasn't built in a day, but had they had the right builders it could very well have.

Thursday was the installation of all the guttering. And anyone who follows me on instagram (the_suppatown) would have already seen a sneak peak of this.

Then on Friday they started the prep work by laying the blue roof batons ready for the colorbond roofing to be installed the following week. At this time they also starting putting in the sisalation which is an insulation foil that we are using on as well as insulation due to the colorbond roof.
On top of this, they also started work on installing the roof to the back half of the house. Phew, those roof men sure were busy.

On Monday, the well rested builders finished installing the sisalation through the whole house.
I wonder if in the morning they thought to themselves "ugh I don't want to go to work today"? (as I have done many times on a Monday morning)
I am so thankful that they did, because just look at what they accomplished.

And lucky last was roof day.
And this my friends is the final product.

Ain't she a beauty?
They, along with the brick layers and all other tradesmen working on our house, have done a spectacular job. It can't be faulted. I feel like they deserve a standing ovation.
Up you get readers.
Clap clap clap clap.
